A MESSAGE FROM THE MASTER OF THE FOURTH DEGREE

Welcome to our state website and thank you for taking a closer look at Utah Knights of Columbus. My Name is Charles E. Dover Jr., PSD, and I have been appointed to serve as the District Master of the Fourth Degree for Utah. The Fourth Degree is the branch of the Order that wears the cape and chapeau and carries a sword. This uniform certainly makes us the most recognizable group within the Knights of Columbus.

The jurisdiction of Utah is vast in area and covers over 82,000 square miles. In order that we may better carry out our mission of service, we have divided the state into smaller divisions called assemblies. Currently there are 6 assemblies in Utah. The elected person in charge of each assembly is called a Faithful Navigator. Each assembly is comprised of smaller groups called councils. Therefore, assemblies serve a region, while councils serve a local area.
